The summit sits on the edge of Frodsham, making it an easy addition to any Delamere Forest break.

Families with older children will find the gradual ascent manageable, though toddlers might struggle with the rougher sections near the top. Dedicated viewpoint seekers get the best deal here - on clear days you can spot the Pennines, Snowdonia, and the distinctive outline of Liverpool's waterfront. Dog walkers use the lower slopes regularly, so expect company on popular paths.

Allow about an hour for the round trip if you're taking your time to appreciate the scenery. The hill connects well with longer walks towards Helsby Crag for those wanting more miles in their legs.
