Alton, The Star Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Perfect location to camp for Alton Towers, nice clean site, showers and toilets spotless. Nice play park for kids. Lovely staff.

Very well presented camp site. Was happy until came to pay and they don't accept cash. You should the option for a card and cash.

Lovely place to camp, very clean nice site, spotless facilities. Good pub for food in a few minutes walk. The only downside was we arrived about half an hour early and even though the pitch we chose was empty, we had to park up and wait, a bit overzealous I felt. Other than that it was a well kept site.

Excellent site..We used as a stay convenient to Alton Towers which we walked to in the morning. They even have a map showing the footpath directions to the theme park. Very quiet, spacious nice playground. Very clean washrooms. The staff were quite friendly and check in was easy..Excellent prices especially if for backpackers (you have to call in to make that type of booking)

We had a really positive two-night stay at Alton, The Star. Although it’s a large site, we were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful it was, even with families and groups around, it never felt noisy or overcrowded.
